In Gorizia there will be the Carnival floats parade, on Sunday 12th February, a funny march across the main streets that will end at Public Gardens in the afternoon. The events will continue also on Saturday 18th with the prize-giving to the most beautiful and original Carnival masks, at De Amicis square.
Friuli also hosts international events, like Far East Film Festival, the most important meeting dedicated to Asian cinema, at its 14th edition and that will be in Udine, from 20 to 28th April: a lot of previews, meetings with directors and many chances to visit this nice city that enchanted also authors as Johnnie To, that chose it as a set for one movie.
