Design Week, stylish Milan

This is one of the most authentic faces of Milan: the city where every details counts, to offer a pleasant picture, under architectural and social side, also during a difficult period. People who like the unusual but exact matches, Brera is the ideal district, where craftsmen boutiques and art galleries live together, and where you can find the most famous brand stores and the local shops too.

What to see in Brera? During the Fuorisalone this venue becomes the Design District, where to visit the new store of Foscarini, the top light designer which sells not only lamps but innovative ideas for your home. The special welcome of this showroom will be the installation by Attilio Stocchi.

Moroso is an high quality brand for furnitures, and at its store at via Pontaccio shows a collection of Kavdrat fabrics for chairs, with the support of Patricia Urquiola which designed the creative set-up. Milan DesignJunction collective Edit by Designjunction is a show conceived by the British collective which gathers 30 talented artists and it will be set-up at La Pelota, a very big venue, the best place to host the most creative brands. The visual concept it will be very original: large sheets of woven aluminum material will act as a visual divider between the stands and at the same time it will be a unifying element. This event is one of the most awaited and is a showcase for the innovative brands which want to introduce their products to the audience. To know more:

Before to leave Milan visit a place where aperitif is a sort of ritual: the Bar Basso, where vintage and modern creativity are mixed. This bar, at via Plinio 39, is a must for cocktail lovers because here the barman Mirko Stocchetto invented drink as Negroni Sbagliato and Rossini, this is a landmark for who likes cozy venues, relaxing moods and top aperitifs.

Vinitaly, a successful event in Verona

This edition of Vinitaly (7th – 10th April at Fiera di Verona) is the proof of the increase of the Italian wine market, which reached a 5% growth of sales volume, thanks to the export. The event celebrates the 50 years of DOCG institution, the quality assurance system which is a landmark for customers and wine connoisseurs.
